JuiceWare Xd Socket

Using an SMC (Smart Media) to xD adapter you can build a Juiceware cartridge with an xD Socket.
Materials:
  • Smart Media to xD adapter (both listed below use the same socket)
  • Juiceware cartridge
  • 30 AWG (wire wrap) wire
  • solder
  • glue - instant adhesive, (Super Glue)

Tools:
  • Small Phillips screwdriver
  • Soldering iron with a suitable (small) tip
      • Wide tip for de-soldering the ROM (optional)
  • Utility knife or razor blade
  • Sandpaper or file
  • Wire cutter
  • 30 AWG wire stripper
  • Solder-wick

Optional:
  • Multimeter
  • Straight edge
  • Marker
  • Flux pen
  • tape

Assumptions:

You should have all the following;

  • A Juicebox with JTAG working
  • Ability to write and read a NAND device
  • Experienced with SMT soldering
  • A working toolchain
