Talk:ZipIt Compile

Why do you need busybox if you're just making a hello world program? The way I got started was to download buildroot-zipit http://www.openzipit.org/Development/ Using this also tries to compile all the packages for the actual zipit fs, but all we want is the compiler toolchain it puts together. It would be good if we could get together to edit that Makefile to only set up the toolchain. Any thoughts? But anyway, running this Make takes hours, and then when you come back you see that it broke, but don't worry, the stuff we need got compiled and is in build_arm/staging_dir/bin, so from there you can use arm-linux-gcc --Tomdabomb911 00:04, 24 September 2007 (EEST)
