Device Linux is an open source community focused on Linux-based software platforms. The community distributes and supports Device Linux Platform, a fully-fledged, license-free development environment with integrated development tools.

Device Linux consists of the SDK and software packages. The SDK contains everything you need to build a distribution for an embedded device. Software packages include Linux base SW, middleware, and applications. Complete IDE (Eclipse) integration will soon be available. The distributions can be freely customized leaving out packages and adding new ones, e.g. additional OSS packages, proprietary software.
