Introduction

  • The Japan Technical Jamboree is a forum-wide technical meeting of the CE Linux Forum. This meeting will be located conveniently in Japan and use Japanese as the native language of the event.
  • Not limited to the CELF members, but also every one who are interested in the embedded Linux technologies are welcomed. No admission fee required.
  • A general guidance page is available. Japan Technical Jamboree Guidance (Japanese/English)

"Neta-Furi" ("What I can talk about") Card

  • All attendees are requested to fill-in the "Neta-Furi Card" and send them to the coordinator in advancing to the event.
    • {i} What is "Neta-Furi Card"?
      • It is a card for the mutual introduction of their technical interest of Linux development. In general, conference in Japan tend to be so quiet and many of the attendees are shy about speaking out. For the "Ice Breaking" of the conference, we have prepared such card. ;)

      • 組み込み機器の性能向上とそれにともなう画像、動画の送出などの役割の変化によ り、組み込み機器が取り扱うネットワークトラフィックは年々増加してきている。機器単体で見るとネットワーク性能の向上は望ましいことであるが、ネットワーク構 成によっては「しゃべりすぎる機器」の存在が障害となることもある。今回Linuxカーネルに組み込まれている帯域制御機能を使って、帯域制限機能をターゲ ット機器に組み込んだので報告する。

        • These days, embedded devices improve their network abilities. On the other hand, connecting "too much talking device" may make interference in the network. We applied kernel network traffic control (QoS) facility to our target device. That is simple and effective way to limit bandwidth and shaping network traffic. (by Yagi-san of Mitsubishi)
