Hardware

This was taken from the Discussion Forum posted by greghol:

  • TXD0 on CPU pin-99
  • RXD0 on CPU pin-100
  • Ground from any spot
  • Vcc from any spot
  • you will need a level shifter] circuit with something like the MAX233A or MAX233 to convert to to rs232 signal levels.
  • the serial console only appears to work when a JuiceBox MMC cartridge has been inserted.

Terminal Setup

Configure minicom/hyperterminal/other to use the following settings:

  • 115kbaud
  • 8 data bits
  • No parity
  • 1 stop bit
  • No hardware or software control
