Hi there,

ref:RPi Project page ([[User:Meltwater |Meltwater]]):

I have a suggestion for your "R-Pi NAS" article. Instead of creating init script, automatic mounting of USB hard drive can be done by editing /etc/fstab and adding following line:
 +
/dev/sda1 /home/pi/yourMountedFolder auto uid=pi,gid=pi,noatime 0 0

Hi, I really don't mind if you want to restructure the project page.

My initial thought was that there is cross-over between tutorials and guides (as both aim to teach the user something new) as well as between guides and projects (either could be about a particular project or function, it just depends on how it is written up).

I did not add this init script, it must have been somebody else.
Generally, I'm more than happy for anyone to restructure things how they think, we are all working towards improving it, so feel free to evolve it (it was only put in originally as a rough outline of ideas, splitting it may well be a good plan).

Just wanted to say, nicely done photos showing the voltage between TP1,TP2 on the RasPi. Clearly illustrated; thanks! [[User:Jbeale|Jbeale]] 19:35, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi there,

I have a suggestion for your "R-Pi NAS" article. Instead of creating init script, automatic mounting of USB hard drive can be done by editing /etc/fstab and adding following line: /dev/sda1 /home/pi/yourMountedFolder auto uid=pi,gid=pi,noatime 0 0

Please feel free to edit the RPi_NAS page.

I did not add this init script, it must have been somebody else.
