RPWC aldermanship request
Unfortunately, due to inexperience, your aldermanship request has been denied and your proposal has been striked out because you are not an alderman. Also, SimonSmallTest needs to be moved to your userspace or something (like User:Simon Small/test) because you cannot EVER create test pages in the mainspace. --Jeff • (talk) RPWC President 01:46, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
Thank you and clarification
Thank you for the General history page. It is actually really nice. Your comment on the hubs proposal, however, does not make sense because we are not controlled by the RPi Foundation, nor sanctioned. Here is a quote from an admin of eLinux, who knows Eben on the RPi team:
Jeff,
...we spoke to Eben about 6 months ago and warned him of [people editing pages however they like], however his attitude was that it was a community wiki and he was unwilling to police the pages....
please contact me or Bill if you have administrative issues with organizing the pages....
Dave
As you can see, clearly the RPi Foundation OFFICIALLY supports self-policing. --Jeff • (talk) RPWC President 23:10, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
