WiFi is an acronym for IEEE 802.11 wireless networking. New laptops have often this capability built-in. Coffee shops and cafes offer this so you can connect to the Internet.

The ZipIt uses built-in WiFi to access IM (Instant Messaging) servers via the Internet.
