This project aims to evaluate and to improve RT_PREEMPT patch set and GPU drivers for real-time GPU computing. Current GPGPU focuses to improve computation performance, even real-time system require not only computation performance but also latency. However the current implementation does not consider to use on real-time systems. This project will be separated into two phases. The first one will be an evaluation phase, the second one will be an improvement.
- Evaluation: Find the source of latency bottlenecks on current GPGPU computing
- Improvement: Change the driver and RT_PREEMPT patch to improve the latency
