as it doesn't match the current design files (per Revision A2). And, in particular, because it appears that the orientation of the Samtec BSH-030 is not correct on the Revision A1, at least per the image shown!
Note also, that IDP is not a conventional term of art - I believe that it should read as ITP (for in-target probe).
wait a minute! a closer examination of Revision A2 doesn't look right either!
per the prints and footprints at https://www.samtec.com/technical-specifications/Default.aspx?SeriesMaster=BSH:
- PDF File BSH - .5mm (.0197") Basic Socket Strip - PDF File BSH - Surface Mount Footprint
shouldn't the alignment pins be on the pin-2 side?!
Has anyone successfully used this adapter, in any revision, in combination with an Intel ITP kit (XDP3) or equivalent (such as ASSET USB-XDP3, PODII or Arium XDP3/XDP3e?)??
We've got some internally that we know work, if it would be helpful I'm happy to double check the schematic vs. what we've got and know works, if they are wrong I can let the manufacturer know, see if we can get a more up to date set of files put together.
Thanks much for your reply, Warthog9! I've looked at the schematic and it seems fine - what seems to be the problem is that it seems it's not possible to mount the BSH-030 on the Revision A2 adapter such that the socket pins will line up with the signal traces as required! (of course, the error may be mine ...) Is your adapter internally built? If it's based on the CircuitCo PCB, which Revision? Thanks again!
I find it distressing that a Company can delete MY work without MY permission.
I don't know whether to attribute this to ineptitude or malice.
either way CCO should NOT be able to do this to other users.
