How to build without proprietary Multimedia and 3D Graphics software.

Please build Yocto image with `bitbake core-image-minimal` instead of `core-image-weston`.

Example(Yocto v3.21.0 case):

  • Step 4. Download proprietary driver modules to $WORK/proprietary folder

  • Step 5. Populate meta-renesas with proprietary software packages.

  • Step 7. Prepare default configuration files.
    $ cp $WORK/meta-renesas/meta-rcar-gen3/docs/sample/conf/<h3ulcb|m3ulcb>/poky-gcc/bsp/*.conf ./conf/
  • Step 8.(Edit $WORK/build/conf/local.conf to enable/disable graphics and multimedia proprietary drivers support)

    $ bitbake core-image-minimal
