Regular wiki backups

Hello!

Here is a lot of important information in this wiki. Do you have regular backups of database, files and configuration?

Yes, everything is backed up nightly.

Hello,

There is a new page about Espresso and it is also listed in the main page.

However, Espresso is NOT an embedded linux device. This is one of famous esp8266 device but it does not use Linux at all.

I think it is inappropriate to this wiki and I would delete it from the main page. What do you think?

The Espresso page was added by request. The community around elinux is evolving to include much more technology than simply embedded linux. If you don't think that page should be here, I'd suggesting posting to the discussion page attached to the Espresso page and/or contacting the page authors directly. You can see who's worked on that page by looking on the page's history.

Change the link to "Renesas R-Car SILK" to "Renesas R-Car Boards"

Hi,

could you please change the link to "Renesas R-Car SILK" to "Renesas R-Car Boards" [[R-Car | Renesas R-Car Boards]]? Few boards are described and available.

Thanks

Sure. Done.

04:56, 7 May 2015

The link still points to http://elinux.org/R-Car/Boards/SILK... Could you please fix?

19:18, 7 May 2015

The link now points to http://elinux.org/R-Car

There is no content at http://elinux.org/R-Car/Boards so I assume the link to R-Car is correct.

Let me know if it isn't.

Thanks

Intel Edison

Please could someone add a link for the Intel Edison to the Hardware Pages?

I made a neat case for the Jetson TK1, and have an even better and cheaper one for the Edison...

and of course tech goodies in progress.

I can't just add a link to the Intel Edison without proposed content specific to that chip. It would look kind of silly if the only Intel Edison content were a link to your products. However, feel free to add a new page named appropriately and categorized with Intel Edison. That way, when or if Intel Edison pages ever get added to the wiki, your content will get picked up by the category.

I agree, don't see Edison ever migrating here, such a silly idea, why would they....

I'd be happy to have Intel Edison chips ducumented on the wiki.

Why did you link to dental floss? Is that an honest mistake?
