Some decades ago, I built my own Acorn Atom and learnt assembly language and hardware interfacing then bought the BBC computer, which still works!

I was hardware engineer but have gradually turned into a software engineer - although I can't say I like object orientated programming much - it seems more complex rather than simpler to me?? Give me assembly code any day!

I am really enjoying using the Pi to master Linux at last..
