Hi there! Really like the tutorial pages, have started creating links and placeholders for the rest of them. Just wanted to say you're not closing your references tags (should be <references/>), thought I should point it out :-) - Tufty, 19:20 03 February 2012 (UTC)

Cheers, thanks for the work you've been doing, it's looking great!- Meltwater 6th Feb 2012

I took a step back and looked at the RPi projects page, I always thought that it didn't fit together very well. Looking at it objectively, it seems to be composed of 3 different types of content

  • Tutorials - where the main objective is to learn, a secondary objective is that the student creates something useful or fun.
  • Guides - where the main objective is that the student creates something useful or fun, a secondary objective is to learn.
  • Projects - where the main objective is for experienced designers to create a useful end-product, for example a utility.

The tutorials and guides are focused on teaching the end-user, while the projects are collaborations to create something for the end-users to use.

Do you agree with these definitions? If yes, could they all be accommodated on the RPi projects page or do we need a new page? My personal opinion is that the guides and tutorials should not be on the same page as the projects. Guides and tutorials should be semi-frozen and ready for a beginner to depend upon. Projects should be fluid.

bredman 22 Feb 2012 See my response on your talk page Bredman, no problem with restructuring if you want to do it.

If there's anything the RPi community needs from and admin/MediaWiki perspective please email me and I'll see what I can do. --Wmat 21:46, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
